There are three wild black cherry trees in my backyard, remnants from the hedgerows that bordered a farmer’s field, I believe. Every year they are full of fruit, a feast for birds, chipmunks and mice. For a short time, the fruit has multiple colors which inspired me to try and capture their beauty…in photos, a sketch and in polymer clay. Enjoy!
