This weekend, April 16 and 17, 2016 is the Nature Artists’ Guild Spring Exhibit and it looks like we’ll actually have perfect spring weather for it! The exhibit is held at the Morton Arboretum which is bursting with spring blooms right now.
Friday, April 15, will be the artists’ reception where there will be 6″ x 6″ original artworks donated by the artists for sale. It’s always fun to see these little gems! Here’s my donation…
There will also be artists demonstrating their techniques as well as a raffle for various gift baskets. In the exhibit, there will be almost 200 works of art in a variety of media by nearly 50 artists. The featured artist will be Patty Koenigsaecker who will have a variety of work in fiber, pastel and other media. My caterpillar bracelets will also be making their debut. Hope to see you there!
That’s a lovely crocus painting, Karen. It’s nice that you have such a great exhibit near you on an annual basis. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Emily! I very much appreciate this group and the opportunities it provides 🙂
I hope the exhibition goes well. I love you crocus painting!
Thanks, Clare! It helps that good weather is predicted 🙂
That will help! 🙂
