My neighbor has a lovely garden that is much more formally planted than mine. Beautiful niches each with their own focal points have inspired me over the years and I finally made it over there to capture some of them in my sketchbook. For each of these sketches, the lighting magnified the beauty of the spot and was what attracted me to it, along with the subject matter. Enjoy!
Lovely sketches again Karen. The garden must be good if your drawings are anything to go by.
Thanks, Clare! It is lovely. It’s hard to decide which garden to sketch in, hers or mine!
😀
Karen, which neighbor is this garden? Have you ever sketched the koi creeks next door? And feature the koi? Will she allow you to take photos of the garden? If yes, would love to see them also. Thanks,
This is Jill’s garden and no, I haven’t sketched in my other neighbors garden. That’s a great idea!
Very nice.
Thanks!
