The Nature Artists’ Guild had their last summer paint-out this morning at Sharon’s home. The weather was perfect, the mosquitoes were elsewhere and inspiration was all around us. The light was showing off the twisted bark of a large silver maple, so I started sketching there, then moved on to some extra-large blackberries that had beautiful color. Sharon was giving away vegetables and blackberries so I had to continue sketching some cute pear tomatoes at home. All in all, a marvelous day. Enjoy!
