I have always loved sunsets, especially when I can see them without any obstructions, like wires or trees. My in-laws live in Iowa, bordering a corn field facing west, giving me the perfect viewing point. It’s not always easy to predict when a sunset will be gorgeous, but I was hopeful seeing the layers of clouds that were forming in the late afternoon.
Patience is needed as inevitably the best color occurs after you’re frozen and think it’s finished. Here’s my series from Friday night’s colorful display. Enjoy!
