Several years ago my sister found a cool beetle at a store in New York.  She bought it and gave it to me in hopes that I’d sculpt it one day.  She recently had a significant birthday so I thought it would be fun to make, out of polymer clay, one of her favorite stones, amber, and this beetle-the five-horned rhinoceros beetle.  Here’s some of the process that went into creating it.  Enjoy!
