After just a couple of warm days, it seemed like all the flowers wanted to bloom at once! Green has once again appeared and color is everywhere. It was hard to choose where to sketch, but I found a redbud tree that had fallen over, yet still was blooming, a good example of perseverance under difficult times. Enjoy!
Beautiful, Karen! I bathed in the oceans of the bluebells Saturday.
Thanks, Marilyn! Glad you could get out and enjoy them!
Love the bluebells!
Dear Karen, Thank you for the lovely photos and the great sketch. Here in Berlin the lilac is blooming beautifully. And since I just noticed the date, I want to wish you a wonderful birthday – lots of joy in doing what you love to do, good health and every blessing from above! Big hug from across the ocean, Tina
Thanks for thinking of me, Tina, you have a good memory! I’m glad you’re enjoying the lilacs, they were one of my mom’s favs and mine as well. Hugs back to you and have a great day!
You’re welcome, sis! Write me sometime about how your family is doing and I’ll fill you in on mine. My boys are getting so tall! Wings@online.de. Good to have you here. Hugs, Tina
They are gorgeous, aren’t they?
Lovely
Thanks, Sherry!
As gorgeous as the pictures are, you painting is evermore beautiful! Thank you!
Thanks, Resa! It’s been so beautiful here lately, just have to try and share it any way I can.
Beautiful photos and sketches!
Thanks, OC!
Absolutely beautiful! Both the sketch and the photos.
Thanks, Clare! We’ve had some beautiful days here lately-so nice after a long winter!
Nice photos, and I really like your redbud sketch. I like how the log directs your eye across the scene.
Thanks, Shawn! You’re very observant- I think that’s one of the things that attracted me to that tree in the first place.
Your Redbud sketch is absolutely fabulous!!! Love it!
Thanks, Resa! Redbuds are just glorious after a long, cold winter…
