Spending time in a beautiful garden, enjoying the birds singing, and watching butterflies flutter overhead fills my cup with joy. The Nature Artists’ Guild arranged a visit to the Gardens at Ball for some pleinair sketching and we had the perfect day to spend the morning outside. Goldfinches, hummingbirds and butterflies were plentiful and entertaining to watch. It was hard to decide what to sketch but I finally settled near the pollinator’s garden and sketched a quaking aspen. Enjoy!
