The winter prairie has its own kind of beauty…subtle warm colors, interesting textures, fiery sunsets, snowy patterns and sculptural forms. I may have to drag myself out there when it’s cold and grey, but I haven’t ever regretted going when I do.
Many of the landscape sketches were done in the comfort of my kitchen, but the ones that say plein air were done on site. Enjoy!
